Summer Camps

Have a Science-Packed Summer at SMO

Spend the summer with SMO!

Early Explorers (pre-K and kindergarten), Explorers (grades 1-3) and Innovators (grades 4-6) can spend up to nine weeks with the educators at Science Museum Oklahoma exploring the awesome power of science! Make things that fly, play with water, recycle, upcycle, break things and learn the science of grossing people out. Each week will be its own adventure!

Summer Camps and COVID-19

SMO closed to the public in March to do our part to stem the spread of COVID-19. We don't have a reopening date as of early April, but it's our hope that we will be open in time for our 2020 summer camps and we want to give families the opportunity to plan for summer.

Our camps are always fully refundable up to a week before the camp, however we want to assure you that your camp tuition will be fully refunded if we aren't able to hold a camp because the museum is closed or in the event of illness. As always, we are committed to delivering our camp programs for your children in a safe way — we can't wait to have your family back in the museum!

Registration is currently only available online.
If you need assistance, please email reservations@sciencemuseumok.org for the fastest response - we're happy to help! You can still call our Guest Relations office at (405) 602-3760, however because Guest Relations staff isn't at the museum it may be 1-2 business days before we can return your call.

Hours and Rates: Camps for Early Explorers (Pre-K and Kindergarten) are from 9 a.m. to noon and are $100 per camper, per week for members and $125 for nonmembers. Camps for Explorers (Grades 1-3) and Innovators (Grades 4-6) are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and are $225 per camper, per week for members and $250 for nonmembers.
