  • Hours and Rates: Early Explorers (pre-K and kindergarten) camps are from 9 a.m. to noon and are $45 per child per session for museum members or $50 for nonmembers. Explorers (Grades 1-3) and Innovators (grades 4-6) camps are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and are $90 per child per session for museum members or $100 for nonmembers. Rates include both days of camp.
  • What to Bring: Early Explorers (Pre-K to kindergarten) are required to bring a snack for each day of camp and Explorers and Innovators (Grades 1-6) are required to bring a lunch and a snack for each day of camp.
  • Available Space: Camps are listed as "Registration Closed - Sold Out" when sold out and "Limited Space Available" when less than five spaces remain. If your preferred camp is sold out, please contact Guest Relations at (405) 602-3760 to be placed on our waiting list.
  • Parent Packets: A completed Parent Packet is required for each camper. Forms are available for download at the bottom of this page.
  • Registration closes the Monday before each camp or when full. No refunds are available for cancellations made later than one week prior to the start of camp. Camp registration is updated frequently, however if you are concerned your preferred camp may sell out, please contact Guest Relations at (405) 602-3760 for the most up to date availability.

Little hands can do so many things! Our littlest hands will try building boats, programing and commanding tiny robots, constructing a marble run, and much more.

Let’s journey to the center of the Earth and find out just what is under our feet! While experimenting with earthquakes, tectonics, and volcanology, we’ll get to the groundbreaking core of Earth science.

Escape Room

Campers should bring: A snack and a lunch

Break out of your normal routine with our most puzzling camp. Live-action, team-based games and creation. Explore the science of puzzles and logic while creating an escape experience of your own.

It’s time to bundle up as we explore the coldest of the cold! With whale blubber, melting snowmen, arctic animal tracks, and a special story time, we’ll go in search of a chilly adventure with the science of winter weather.

Let’s take a journey into the world of microscopy! Create tiny drawings using microscopes, perform cheek swabs, view organic and inorganic specimens, and discover just how tiny we all are with a visit to the Kirkpatrick Planetarium.

Innovators (Grades 4-6)

Life on Mars - Limited Space Available

9 a.m. to 4 p.m., $90 for members / $100 for nonmembers
Campers should bring: A snack and a lunch

The red planet and fourth planet from the Sun, we know so much — yet so little. Along with special Kirkpatrick Planetarium experiences, we’ll use all our earthly resources to explore Mars and discover its mysteries.
